Monterey CA, August 14 2019 - Arriving early in the week for Monterey Car Week is good for the soul. The side roads and parking lots aren't clogged up yet, and you would hardly know that thousands of rare automobiles are collecting in town. The signs are there - out of nowhere strange and unusual cars pass by on the way to one of a cavalcade of upcoming auto auctions and car gatherings.

It takes quite an army of workers assemble a whole new look on the place. After so many years of performance, everyone seems to know the drill. Large manufacturer displays pop up around the Pebble Beach - 1st class consumer traps awaiting suspecting victims.

Everyone seems so - - happy. Maybe that's because of the geography; or the weather; or the gathering of old friends. Whatever. This week it's cube factor 10 with cars like you've never seen before - since last year at this very location. The slate of cars on offer and display may change color and owners, but the same adoring crowd comes from around the world to be impressed. They gonna be.
